FAQ
Short answers to the questions we get most.
What is Block Suite?
A desktop suite for moderating Minecraft servers, every aspect of it, from the network to the game itself. It's made of modules you turn on as you need them.
Do I need to open ports on my router?
No. Block Suite connects out to our relay, so there is nothing to forward.
Where does my server run?
On your own PC. Block Suite runs next to it: your world, plugins and data never leave your machine.
Is my home IP visible to players?
Players connect to yourname.mineroute.net, not to your IP.
Does it work with Bedrock?
Block Suite is built for Minecraft: Java Edition.
Why does Windows warn me when I install it?
The app isn't code-signed yet. See Installation.
How do updates work?
The app checks for updates every time it starts and installs them by itself.
